Gucci – Milan, Fall 2012

One of my favourite collections for Fall 2012. Super dark and very chic. Love the velvet and the sheer silk blouses. Love the black and jewel tones. A nice extension and evolution from the last few seasons. Simply put – these clothes are amazing. They’re dramatic but still wearable. Some of the looks almost have an Ungaro vibe from the late 80s/early 90s. And the shoes and bags are perfect and are going to be super good sellers. Just watch. Also love the makeup, dark red lips and hair. Finally, the feather pieces at the end are pretty much the coolest ever. Oh – and Anja Pubik (pictured above) is another one of my new favourite models. She is one pretty gal.

Emilio Pucci – Milan, Fall 2012

This show surprised me. Simple. Good looking. And a lot of black. Black was everywhere this season. I think it’s cool that this line in particular is moving away from all the crazy prints which they’re known for. Just look at the cut on some of the leather. It’s so beautifully done. And super wearable. Love almost all of it. The white blazer over the black evening gown is especially good looking. And I love the neck of his dress. I’m also really digging Joan Smalls (the model). She was in so many shows this season and she’s stunning. Check out those cheek bones. We’re going to be seeing a lot of her.

Elle Macpherson Continues To Wow Us

Elle Macpherson at the Rodial Beautiful Awards in London looking amazing (still) in a white pant suit. This is a good look. Love the cut of the suit and the wide pants. It’s fresh and flattering. That’s a really good sparkly clutch too. And her hair colour is perfect on her. I think gold looks really good with white so she could have added a really cool gold cuff or hoops. but she looks amazing. And you know that she knows it – which isn’t a bad thing.
