This was one of the most highly anticipated shows of the season. Why? Because John Galliano contributed. And the collaboration pulled off – the show was one of the best Oscar de la Renta shows in years – stunning. There was definitely a hint of Dior but many pieces also looked like old school de la Renta – lots of embroidery and some of the most beautifully constructed suits of the season in jewel tones and really soft leather. The collection was modern, good looking and, of course, fancy.
