A few weeks ago, I was asked to be in a new ad for the CORE (Calgary’s awesome downtown shopping centre) along with model Lauren Barrie, of The Nobles (below). And I course I said yes because it’s all about new and fun experiences. The campaign promotes the CORE’s parking services, which include complimentary valet parking (applicable parking fees apply) and free parking after 4 pm on weekdays and Saturday and Sundays.

The idea for the campaign was a clever one – the intention was to represent the elite fashions exclusive to the CORE’s retail collection by showing runway style looks in a parking garage – something you don’t see every day. Calgary photographer Derek Heisler did a solid job on encouraging me to look as tough as possible – not a look I come by easily.

And don’t get me started on the suit I was lucky enough to wear. Fashion stylist and personal shopper Phaedra Godchild of Styleista, chose an incredible three-piece Dolce & Gabbana suit and a very cool Paul Smith blacked check silk tie for my look. I definitely felt fancy.

The ad will be shown in print and on billboards throughout the city. So if you see it, that’s me!
