The annual fundraiser for the Met’s Costume Institute is hands down the most exclusive event of the year – many consider it the most elitist event in the world. Tickets start at a staggering $30,000 and Anna Wintour oversees and approves every person who attends. So basically if Anna doesn’t like you, you’re not going. Met Gala 2017 – Avant-Garde with Comme des Garçons. And Rihanna Wins. Again.

It’s the party that costs $30,000 a ticket and even if you an afford a ticket, that doesn’t mean you can necessarily attend. It’s invitation only and there’s a famously long waiting list – just to get on the invite list. Anna Wintour carefully oversees every detail and has to approve everyone who attends – of course she does. Grammys Red Carpet Recap- Rihanna’s Bedazled Flask Wins the Night

Award season is in full swing with the Grammys taking place Sunday night. Obviously, the biggest story was the controversy over Adele winning Best Album, beating Beyoncé who many thought deserved to win for her critically praised album, Lemonade – including Adele. It was a charming moment when she broke her Grammy in half so she could share it with Beyoncé. I can’t say the red carpet this year was particularly exciting or that there was any one look we’ll remember for years to come (like Jennifer Lopez’s legendary plunging Versace in 2000). If I had to choose the night’s style winner, I’d probably go with Rihanna – but that’s mostly because of her brilliant bedazzled flask. Best Dressed 2015 — Some tops looks in 2015: Julianne Moore in Armani Privé, Rihanna in Giambattista Valli, Beyoncé in Givenchy, Jane Fonda in Valentino and Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell.

When I was a teenager, every year I anxiously waited for InStyle‘s annual list of the best dresses of the year. I often agreed and more often disagreed, and thought of all the looks they missed. Now it’s cool to be able to make my own annual list. In 2015, we saw many impressive and memorable looks and, as always, some unfortunate ones (looking at you Heidi Klume). But let’s focus on the positive. Like Rihanna. And Amal Clooney. And Jane Fonda, who had many incredible moments on the red carpet this year, and showed time and time again how she continues to defy any logic to do with aging. Rihanna Wins Met Gala (Again) – Obviously

For fashion lovers, the Met Gala – the annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute – is the biggest red carpet of the year. A night where stars can take changes on their lavish ensembles while celebrating fashion (it’s called the “Costume Institute” for a reason). And that’s a good thing. Because fashion should be fun. And this year’s festivities gave us one of the best and most exciting red carpets in a long time. Grammys Red Carpet: Rihanna’s Dress is Pharrel’s Hat of 2015

A day before the Grammys, I posted on Facebook that I was excited to see what the stars will be wearing and I knew we’d see some looks from the Spring 2015 couture shows that just wrapped up in Paris. I predicted we’d see Alexandre Vauthier, Versace, Zuhair Murad and maybe Jean Paul Gaultier (if we’re lucky). And we definitely did. Miley Cyrus wore Alexandre Vauthier, Gwen Stefani rocked Atelier Versace, Katy Perry wore Zuhair Murad and a Kardashian wore Jean Paul Gaultier and all the looks were straight off the runway.
