Beckham has achieved pretty impressive (not to mention surprising) success as a fashion designer. And for good reason. She’s good. Really good. And she obviously designs with herself in mind. While attending the 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event at the Chateau Marmont earlier this week, she wore a super cool sheer blouse accented with interesting black panels paired a well cut short black skirt both from her Spring 2014 collection – which I loved. The opened toed shoes are also from the collection and were shown with the same blouse on the runway. This is a good look. It’s modern and sexy but still feminine. Her hair also looks great pulled back and the gladiators with gradient lenses are the perfect accessory for the simple and chic look.
This is an easy look to emulate. Here’s a similar skirt at Club Monaco ($149.50) that offers the same movement as Beckham’s and a similar short sleeve sheer blouse by Alexander Wang ($295). Go for it!
