If you haven’t been to Calgary’s Holt Renfrew yet this holiday season, make sure to check it out – you definitely won’t be disappointed. The store is decorated beautifully and the window displays are incredible. There’s also live Christmas music on Saturdays and they have a huge selection of seasonal gifts, including toys, goodies and decorations, not to mention the best selection of luxury and contemporary designers in the city (but you already know that). And to help celebrate the holiday season with style – and raise money for an important cause – Holts is having a unique silent auction to benefit the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
To create the Designer Deer collection, they enlisted some of Calgary’s best interior designers and artists including Alykhan Velji, James McIntyre and Monica Stevens, Kim Parrent, Donalee McColl-Brotzell, and the super talented Canadian-born international jewellery designer Dean Davidson, to create one-of-a-kind Designer Deer. It’s a fun, charming and clever way to showcase Holt Renfrew’s holiday spirit and support an important initiative during the holiday season.
The Designer Deer are also super chic, fancy and would be a great addition to any well-decorated space over the holidays, for years to come. All the proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. The bidding ends on Monday, December 15 so make sure to check out the collection and make a bid before it ends. You don’t want to miss a chance to own a fancy one-of-a-kind Designer Deer – especially when it raises money for such a good cause.
For holiday shopping convenience, Holts is open from 9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday – Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sundays. So go wonder the beautiful store, get some great gifts and enjoy the holiday spirit, and then head next door to Cucina for a glass (or two) of champagne. Why not? It’s Christmas.
