Fashion’s biggest night never disappoints. The annual fundraiser for the Met’s Costume Institute is hands down the most exclusive event of the year – many consider it the most elitist event in the world. Tickets start at a staggering $30,000 and Anna Wintour oversees and approves every person who attends. So basically if Anna doesn’t like you, you’re not going. My girls are back! By now most of you have seen the photos. Donatella’s brilliant tribute to her brother Gianni during Milan Fashion Week, 20 years after his death, included a finale the fashion world is still buzzing about. Uniting original 1990s supermodels Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen and Carla Bruni, Donatella created one of the best and most memorable fashion moments in years. I still can’t get over it (when I first saw the photos I squealed – loudly). It’s no secret 2016 was a rough year. For me, it was one full of changes, challenges and learning experiences. Although I haven’t had much time to post lately, I couldn’t miss my annual list of some of my favourite red carpet looks of the year. It may have been a shitty year for many but on a brighter and lighter note there were still some amazing red carpet looks.
